Wanted: Cybersecurity Experts to Support Students During the 'Hack Zoetermeer' and the 'Capture the Flag (CTF)' Workshops!

Would you like to contribute to the development of enthusiastic cybersecurity students? This is your chance! On 8 May 2026, the Dutch Innovation Park will once again host ZeroDayZoetermeer at the Dutch Innovation Factory; a challenging cybersecurity event specifically designed for vocational (MBO) and higher education (HBO) students. For both the 'Hack Zoetermeer' and the 'Capture the Flag (CTF)' workshop, the organisers are currently seeking individuals/ organisations who would be interested in supporting students during these workshop and assisting with the hands-on hacking activities. This is a unique opportunity to engage with emerging cybersecurity talent and contribute to an exciting, practical learning experience.

Students will work in teams to test and improve the digital security of the municipality of Zoetermeer. They will operate in a realistic environment, actively searching for vulnerabilities, all within controlled conditions and clearly defined boundaries. This year, the event’s scope has been expanded with an exciting challenge: students will have the opportunity to attempt to hack an operational OT setup on site, adding an extra layer of hands-on experience to the workshop.
